Shot on location in Michigan, Wisconsin and Paris, the film was produced by Roger Rapoport who cowrote the screenplay with director Joe Anderson. Cinematographer David Darling was joined by assistant cinematographer Bruce Schermer (Roger & Me and Sundance Grand Prize Winning Chameleon Street). The score was composed by emmy award winner Garth Neustadter and edited by Gene Gamache, the producer of Houdini and A Circus Life.
